Wahweap Overlook Page, AZ

Wahweap Overlook

Wahweap Overlook is definitely one of the most underrated tourist spots in Page, Arizona.

You’ll get stunning picturesque views of Wahweap Marina, Glen Canyon Dam, Navajo Generating Station, and miles of dramatic Lake Powell shoreline!

Getting There

Wahweap Overlook

Wahweap Overlook is located inside the Glen Canyon National Conservation Area.

This is a fee area. $30 per vehicle and $25 per motorcycle will give you a full 7 day pass into the park. All of the money received from entrance fees remains with the National Park Service with at least 80% of the revenue going back to Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. In other words, don’t bitch about it. It’s not a good look.

Wahweap Overlook is just one of the many things you can experience at Glen Canyon, so you won’t be disappointed.

Wahweap Overlook

There is no hiking involved. You simply park your car and enjoy the views. You can definitely turn it into a hike (like I did) by scrambling down towards the water.

Did you spot me in the last photo? I’m the ant wearing the pink tank. You’re welcome.

There is also a covered picnic bench and several large rocks near the edge of the Overlook, so you can picnic, or simply sit and take in the views.

If you’re in the area, this is definitely a quick and easy place to get killer views of Lake Powell!

After taking in the views, I’d recommend stopping at Lake Powell Resort and Marina for more views of Lake Powell, along with their delicious dining.
