Pine Valley Recreation Area is located in the beautiful and scenic Pine Valley, Utah and has an elevation of 6,900 feet. The valley offers a great escape from the summer heat of the Southern Utah desert. You can enjoy fishing at nearby Pine Valley Reservoir and explore the many local trails.
Located only 40 minutes from St George, Pine Valley Reservoir is a beautiful place to fish, explore, get away-time from your everyday life, and take tons of photos!
With its lush scenery, and beautiful mountains, you really can’t go wrong spending a day here, or even better – camping!
There are also many hiking trails that lead to some breathtaking views!
It’s a super fun place to take your off-road vehicles. Buddy enjoyed it!
While it’s a great place to escape the Southern Utah heat in the summer, it’s also equally as beautiful in the fall.
Whipple Trail is my favorite hike to do in Pine Valley. I love the waterfalls and the beautiful mountain views, with the towering trees and crisp, fresh air. If you do the entire trail, up and back, you’re looking at a 10.6-mile hike. That doesn’t mean you have to do the entire thing! I highly recommend checking out the beauty of this trail.
No matter what you decide to do here, you really can’t go wrong! It’s a beautiful place for the entire family!
